THE MAN BEHIND THE MAGIC

From studios to stadiums, Grammy Award-winning record producer/engineer Toby Wright is behind some of the most iconic names in music. In addition to his groundbreaking innovation in the studio with artists like KORN, KISS, METALLICA and BRIAN WILSON, his production of ALICE IN CHAINS' "MTV Unplugged" is hailed as one of the finest live albums ever made.

He watched artists lose the financial support they once had, due to the industry shifting from talent development to data driven decision making. With so many talented musicians now on their own, he realized it would be up to the creative sector to innovate ways to capitalize on direct-to-consumer marketing avenues. He felt this must include the ability to create commercially competitive recordings that could dovetail with live albums, video and exciting live streaming.

As it often does with Toby, the answer came in a dream, and he began a nationwide search for the right truck. One that he could configure to accommodate endless possibilities, such as:

Mission

broadcast and record HD multi-camera live shows and events that can later be released and remixed for live singles and albums with video.... or just content!
record world-class studio sessions anywhere, anytime....... anyplace!
making live events more accessible through broadcast and streaming, therefore bringing people closer together!

But such a truck did not exist to the specifications he envisioned.

He would have to build it himself.

Vision

Toby is renowned for sculpting magical sound in unorthodox environments.

He has been instrumental in helping to design some of the world's most innovative rooms - from custom home studios to legendary commercial facilities and venues.

In his quest to find unique ways to integrate his dream components, he spoke to top pros from music, film, streaming and transport worlds.

Unbeknown to him, word was spreading.

One night, he received a late night call from an industry friend. They said, "I hear you're building a super truck!".

And just like that,

The Super Truck was born!
